Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. Who these standards cover
MeshUp is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. These standards apply to every profile, chat, photo, listing, and other interaction on MeshUp. They prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
2. What is not allowed
MeshUp has zero tolerance for the following:
- Any sexual content involving a person under 18, including images, video, text, or links
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexual conversation directed at a minor
- Sharing, requesting, or threatening to share child sexual abuse material
- An account that misrepresents a child as an adult, or an adult as a child, for a sexual purpose
3. How to report a concern
Open the person's profile and choose Report, or open their message in chat and choose Report. Pick Child safety and add what you saw. MeshUp sends that report to hello@meshup.app. You can also email that address directly. Include any usernames and the time you saw the content so we can find it.
4. What we do with a report
When we receive a child-safety report, we:
- Review the account and the content
- Remove content that violates these standards
- Disable the account involved
- Report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authority. In Norway that is Kripos. Where United States law requires it, we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We also report to another regional or national authority when the case falls under that authority.
5. Contact
The contact for these standards is hello@meshup.app. That address can discuss MeshUp's practices for preventing child sexual abuse material and for complying with these standards.
